Glover Park Day, Saturday, September 10, 2011

 
Glover Park is a family-friendly neighborhood located in the District of Columbia high on a hill above the Potomac River, just north of Georgetown. It includes both sides of Wisconsin Avenue from Whitehaven Parkway to Calvert Street and then extends northward on the west side of Wisconsin to Fulton Street. Its western boundary is 42nd street along the edge of Glover-Archibald Park. Glover Park is a neighborhood of row houses, apartment buildings and a busy commercial strip of Wisconsin Avenue. Residents appreciate the convenience and hometown atmosphere of the neighborhood and its beautiful natural setting. Every year, the residents put on a celebration open to everyone. There are stands that feature every kind of food possible, crafts, prizes and a stage with live music. For more information about the 22nd Annual Glover Park Day, 2011,  click here:

4:00 - 5:00 – Upper Ninth Ward

Each band will play for one hour starting at 11:am and there will be a 15 minute intermission in between each act.

The Unforgiven will have CDs for sale for $10.00 each and special souvenir CDs for $5.00 each.
